As a native New Yorker, Niki graduated from Hunter College with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology with Honors and from NYU Tandon School of Engineering with a Master of Science in Biotechnology. Feeling unfulfilled by the experiences of working in a research lab, Niki set out to explore a new career where she could make a direct impact on people's lives. Following her own health journey, she obtained a certification to be a functional nutrition counselor from the Functional Nutrition Alliance as well as a certificate in medicinal plants from Cornell University. When she is not learning and helping others, she enjoys boxing, yoga, meditation and cooking!
