1. Squeeze lime juice into a glass, add grated ginger and stir.
2. Add 3 large ice cubes.
3. Pour in ginger beer and sparkling water and stir.
4. Garnish with a lime wedge if desired.

Tip:

Different brands of ginger beer have different concentrations of ginger and thus varying degrees of flavor. For the most ginger flavor, try Maine Root Spicy Ginger Brew. For a milder flavor try Reed's Extra Ginger Brew. Ginger People's Bottoms Up Ginger Beer is more gingery than the Reed's and milder than the Maine Root. You can get about four drinks per bottle of ginger beer.
